Create ZIP bundles selected files into one package. Extract ZIP opens an existing archive for individual downloads. Compress ZIP rebuilds an archive and keeps the original if it cannot save space.
These tools support ordinary Store and Deflate ZIPs, up to 128 MiB compressed and expanded. ZIP creation accepts up to 200 files; extraction and recompression allow up to 1000 entries. USTAR and TAR.GZ tools handle regular files and folders; PAX, GNU extensions, links and sparse files are rejected. TAR creation accepts 200 files and 127 MiB. GZIP extraction accepts one stream up to 128 MiB compressed and expanded. Passwords and ZIP64 are not supported.
