Create ZIP: help & limits

How to use
  1. Choose files to package.
  2. Remove anything you do not need, then choose Create ZIP.
  3. Download your ZIP. Your originals are unchanged.

Examples

  • Package product photos and a price list in a single delivery.
  • Bundle a project’s source files and notes for a handover.
Supported files and limitations

Files are stored at the top level. Folder selection is not supported. Duplicate and unsafe filenames are renamed. File content, including embedded metadata, is preserved. Compression may not reduce already compressed photos or videos.

Processing stops after 60 seconds. Files and results are held in memory; even within these limits, a low-memory device may fail. Cancel and retry with fewer or smaller files.

Privacy

Files, names, and extracted contents stay in browser memory. A local worker packages or expands bytes. Reset ends processing and releases file references; it does not securely erase device memory. File contents are not uploaded and there is no server fallback. Website and account traffic is separate from file processing. Downloads remain wherever you save them.

How local processing works
Can I include different file types?

Yes. ZIP creation packages their bytes without opening, converting, or executing them. Up to 200 files and 128 MiB total are supported.

Can I add a password?

No. This tool creates an unencrypted ZIP. Keep sensitive files protected when sharing the download.
